Couples must learn the language of love which includes: words of affirmation, kind acts, giving gifts, spending quality time together and gentle physical touch.

“As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons, I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste. He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. Stay me with flaggons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love. His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.” – Songs of Solomon 2: 3-6

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.” – Romans 12: 9-10

“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” – 1John 4: 7-8
