SERVICE GROUPS:
As you grow with us in Lifeline Bible Church, there are Groups that offer wonderful opportunities to serve the Lord in the fellowship of the brethren. They include the following:
Worship Team
Members of this team lead the church in praise and worship as we minister to the Lord in songs, hymns, choruses and prayers. They also minister at events such as weddings, funerals and naming ceremonies. They organize rehearsals, workshops and concerts and record some of their songs for distribution in and outside the church.
Prayer Team
Prayer is vital to the Christian life and ministry. This group regularly prays and intercedes for church members, programmes, our partners around the world as well as handles sundry prayer points and requests. The members go on Fasting and Prayer Retreats also.
Ushering Team
This team is the protocols and traffic control unit of the church and works to ensure organization, orderliness and proper coordination during church programmes in the auditorium as well as the car parks. They also monitor security around the church premises generally.
Evangelism ministry
The task of reaching the unreached people with the Gospel of Christ is the primary responsibility of this group. They go out regularly for one-on-one evangelism and also minister through tracts, film-shows, live dramas, open air crusades and outreaches, etc.
Follow-Up ministry
This team consists of all House Fellowship pastors and others who work together to follow up new visitors and converts so as to help them grow spiritually and integrate into the church through personal visits, phone calls, texts, e-mails, etc. They handle various counseling needs and also teach the basic tenets and rudiments of the Christian faith at the various Discipleship Classes and organize water baptism.
Welfare Team
This is a benevolent group in church that caters for the financial, moral and material needs of church members. They represent the rapid response squad of the church during bereavement and emergencies. Members of this group in conjunction with church leadership raise funds and rally support for needy members of the church from time to time.
Organizing Team
Members of this team clean and get the church and its surroundings ready for meetings and programmes. They help arrange the chairs in the church hall before and after the meetings and also help to dispose of any refuse generated. They ensure that the church premise is neat at all times.
Hospitality Team
This is the team responsible for the physical well-being of brethren in church whenever we share food and drinks. They sometimes source for, cook or simply collate and see to the proper distribution of food and drink items brethren bring at such times. They also look after the welfare of our ministers especially the guest ministers.
Beautification Team
This team is in charge of decorations, aesthetics and general beautification of the church and its premises. Members of this team are usually creative people, sometimes professionals who are talented in several arts and crafts serving the Lord with their gifts and skills.

Children’s Teachers’ Team
The team consists of all the teachers in the Children’s Department of the church. They meet regularly to pray for the children in their care, plan programmes and review their lessons together, and discuss issues of common interests. They also visit these children at home regularly, pray with them and advise their parents or guardians on crucial matters relating to their welfare.
