God put Adam to sleep first in order to give him his wife. You too need to close your eyes in prayer and talk to God first in order for Him to help you fish out the right one.
“And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof: And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man.” – Genesis 2: 21-22
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He hsall direct thy paths.” – Proverbs 3: 5-6
